The results are out.
Actually it was April 29th when I was awakened with my phone's vibration. Oreo, who happened to be one of my core supports during the review, told me that it's time to wake up because I am already a licensed civil engineer. Like WTF? Yep. I was kinda expecting it after the exam but making it official just seemed to be more real than ever. IT WAS AWESOME!
So I prayed to God and thanked Him most.
Anyway, I am back to where I used to be--office. Amidst my technical designation as an engineer, I am still stuck in Regional Public Information Office. I love it here, don't get me wrong. But I sometimes wonder how it would feel more when I am actually using my technical knowledge to application. Real application.
However, my entry seemed to shake the grounds.
The HR Department had been very "by the book" even with the Regional Director's clear instructions on my designation. Long story short, the Chief of HR was called in the office with me, and the RD made herself clear on how it's going to be. My upgrading will be effective on July instead of October (HR's suggestion) and I will have 500 pesos more as my daily rate. Sweet. But by now, I am under their radar. My contract is still left unsigned because my senior is dilly dallying (again) and I am running our of cash.
But I will not rant here.
I am just merely updating my life. I am in peace but I don't think this will last long.
